AJUNTAMENT DE CANET DE MAR

The returning of the americanos to Canet allowed the progress of the vineyards. During half of the 19th century, water mines were built to water the old dry lands. One of the richest zones was the vegetable garden of the Busquets family, also owners of the Villa Flora Mansion.  Six fountains and a summerhouse designed by the art Nouveau architect Eduard Ferres. Most of the old garden is now a public park.
